Hee! Have I mentioned how much I love seeing Browncoats of the world sporting one of my pretties? I loves it I do. ;) Thank you to Janiene and Gerald!
Cunning hand-knit hats to wear during hijinx and thrilling heroics
This one is from Molly! A very cunning hat, and her own matching scarf. I also like her tee (tee hee!).
This one is from gqbriggs! Very cunning indeed! He left me some super-fantastic feedback for me on Etsy, along with this photo!
This one makes me giggle! This is actually my aunt trying on a hat that I was sending out west to BC for one of my cousins. And that is indeed me standing behind her. Ha ha, I am strangely hat-less! ;)
I shot them against the cover of my brand-spankin' new X-Files: I Want To Believe DVD, which looks pretty awesome (imho). I really like their simplicity and the fact that other people who know and enjoy The X-Files will definitely get it, and those who don't get it might just be intrigued enough to ask about it. And just as a little incentive, all X-Files button purchases from Ma Cobb's Hat Shoppe will come with a couple extra little X-Filey goodies. :) So enjoy! These are my "ode to Jayne's hat" series of buttons. They all contain a Jayne hat, on various backgrounds with the phrases:
"sweetest hat ever""pretty cunning dontcha think?"
"Big Damn Hero"
"browncoat"
and
"not afraid of anything."
I've had the designs kicking around for awhile, but I haven't been selling them as of yet. I suppose that their popularity as the January free-give away will probably determine whether or not I'll start selling them on etsy. So please let me know what you think: fadingendlessly[at]gmail.com! Would you buy these? As a set, or just individually? Which design is your favourite? I'm really curious to know.
Alright, that's all for me for now, but I've got loads of news to spread so keep a look out in the next couple weeks!
Stay shiny,
Love,
Ma Cobb
